I am a very strong-willed, aggressive, and competitive person. I can be nice, and sweet when it comes to people, however I get what I need to done.

I always though I would become a surgeon, because the adrenaline rush, the competitive nature of it, and saving lives is one of the best possible things I can imagine.

However, the only problem with that is that I really do want a family. I want kids, watch them grow up, go to all their basketball/soccer games, be there every Christmas to be an awesome dad. And, being a surgeon you have to put the lives of others first, and I know that it's going to take away from the family.

So, I considered nursing, but I was told it was pretty much the same thing as doctor...

And, now I'm considering teaching and counseling. Because you still get that people-interaction, help people out, have to keep the class in line, and you get to be with your family a lot...

So, I really don't know what to do. It's like the ancient struggle between job and social life.

I'm not asking you tell me what to do, but what would you suggest?

Well, which one do you actually see yourself doing?

I don't know... Excuse my language, but I see myself kicking ass at something. I don't know, I'm a fighter and I don't want to give that up.

Well, do you have a local gym nearby? I mean, you could also be someone with a job and still have fun :)

I mean, kicking ass like doing something really really good. Like surgery.

well then, surgeon sounds like the job for you, if you can manage the feeling just incase someone dies on you.

I can handle it, but I want a happy, social life.
