iOS 5...?

Has anyone updated to iOS 5 on any device? Im a little nervous to update my iPod right now. I've heard it limited performance extremely in many devices. Any1 with help is appreciated.

I've upgraded my iPod to iOS5 and I'm satisfied for the most part. Some apps are more buggy after the update of course. But also when I upgraded, my music got really really screwed up. Some songs would play, some wouldn't. Most songs changed titles and cover art with each other and it was a big enough mess for me to clear all my music and put it back on.

So I think, yes, it's a great upgrade, but I would be prepared for anything really.

I updated my iPad, and I have nor had any problems. I love the new update.

Nope, not bothering.
I have a 2nd gen 8gb iPod touch. I don't think the hardware could handle it.

I've got a 4th gen touch, and apps freeze and crash a lot. Safari does it particularly frequently. The Notifications Center is pretty cool, though.

A lot of apps haven't updated to be compatible yet though. My TextNow app gave me a thing saying "don't update until we have", i bet that's the case with everything that's crashing lately.
