That's how one of my friends a while back found out I was going on these sex games site because I stupidly posted my real email address on one of the users pages. That's what if you do anything nowadays online that you don't want anyone to know that you're apart of or what you're posting, it's best to make a whole new alias and email address.

yes they are. i had my username on another forum and luckily i looked it up and got it removed cause yesterday my dad decided to look it up and all he found was my account on a christian forum instead of this one or another forum.

No, Google isn't stealing anything. I don't think it has anything to do with the browser.

That's what Google is! It searches webpages for what you put in, and returns them. It isn't stealing anything.

This.

Google is a search engine. Whatever you type into a webpage will be recorded, not stolen, and able to be searched in Google, Yahoo, or whatever. If you don't want something to be found, don't post it.
Hell, this post would be able to be found in a Google search now.

Whatever you post on the internet, assume every person in the world can see it

Google does not "steal" your info. If you take a gander at their TOS, they say that they can use your info however they please(well, not exactly that, but you get my idea).

Also, almost all forums use something called SEO(Search Engine Optimization), which allows their crawlers to easily add info to their results. If you don't like it, don't choose a username that can easily relate to you.

Well my point is all this stuff if from when i used google chrome. If this stuff showing up then a ton of crap should be about 43 game accounts to be exact and a few froums with avatars.2nd point i have 3 emails adresses and pictures from steam that are there when i search my user name but this account uses my ISP email so i doubt it has much to do with email adresses

I highly doubt it has anything to do with the browser you're using. That's just how Google works.

It does seem a little unfair that your information would show up on google without your consent, but then again you do consent by simply using the Internet. It's not a fully anonymous place, and while you can post what you want for the most part, it doesn't come without consequence. You can't really blame google for that.

I imagine that the majority of sites that everyone signs up to all the time says something in their TOS about information being available to search engines. That's why I changed my username here, it used to be the same as everything else on the internet and I didn't like the fact that you could search that one word and fine what ever you wanted about me.
