So to begin with, I have a guy friend who is a good friend of mine. Last year, we used to talk a lot, hang out, um....joke around and stuff. This year, though, one of my classmates came back from the foreign exchange program he was on. And that dude and my friend met and now are really close friends. Who used to be my really close friend has not become someone I barely know anymore. I mean, we still talk but rarely and not as much as before :/ . I found out that he was bi, I overheard my gf and our best friend talking about him and they thought I knew about it. They were saying that my guy friend wanted to tell me but was scared that I'd reject him. Obviously, he didn't know I was bi as well. I ended up telling opening up to him so he wouldn't have to go through being nervous and fearing I would reject him. After that, things sorta changed. Currently, he doesn't talk to me at all, he doesn't even say hi or even wave at me. I'm honestly pretty hurt by it cause I miss him. Ever since my classmate came from from his exchange thing, he has changed my friend, but in bad ways. My guy friend just isn't who he was anymore. *Sigh* What should I do? I miss him a lot. My gf told me that he misses talking to me to, but I don't know what the heck is up with him. Just very frustrating indeed. :/

I think he probably still finds it a bit daunting about the whole coming out thing. Just give him some solid off time and then invite him to the pub or something relaxed and share things and maybe he'll remember the good friend that you are.

This could be it, though i wouldn't suggest the whole going out to "remember" the good friend he is. I am sure he remembers quite well, and is doing 1 of 2 things. Reflecting and thinking about all that has happened and is still unsure, and needs something to reassure him or, blowing it off and shooing it away as if it was an annoying bug.
Hmm, if you are that concerned, then approach him, ask to talk to him privately, and then proceed to question why your friendship that was once unbreakable, has now hit a roadblock. Clarifying things between each other gives you the answer to the problem, and that way you can think upon it and take the appropriate action. Your girlfriend, i don't know if she is getting that info straight from him, or simply making it up to make you feel better, but she is definitely giving you a hint to solve the situation and for both of you to come to your senses to not let something so trivial come between 2 good friends.
