So I had been talking to this girl for a while (a few months), and we went out a few times. When we were at our homecoming, it come out that she never actually liked me, but was just leading me on for so long, and I had really liked this girl. She said she didn't tell because she didn't want to see me hurt. She says that she's sorry, and that she can't say it enough. The problem is that I had been good friends with this girl for a while before we were dating. Am I wrong in forgiving her so soon so as to keep my friend?

Keep her as a friend. Maybe one day the two of you can try it again.

No, it is a good thing that you have forgiven her so soon. Different people take different amounts of time to heal and forgive. I think her intentions were good but her execution was bad. Keep her as a friend and enjoy her company.

Nope. That was good of you, in my opinion. You don't want to lose a friend, just because she made a fucked up joke, right?
