What do you think, I hate my job as a childcare worker, I can't stand it and I am really actually only in it for the money. On the other hand, I have just been offered a job as a Phlebotomist (I stab you and draw your blood.) I really wanna resign as a childcare worker and become a Phlebotomist (I would get benifits, work 24 hourse a week making 13dollars an hour and have to work weekends on-call and if I have to go in I would make time-and-a-half plus tuition reinbursment) because that is my field, I have a lot of training in it.
At the childcare center I get like 15 hours a week and no tuition reinbursment. What do you guys think. I don't want people who read my resume to think I am a job hopper....

I am assuming you want your final career to be in pediatrics, right?

There is no sense in staying at a job you don't like. If you've been offered employment elsewhere that sounds much more beneficial in the long-run and you don't hate it, go for it. Don't worry about looking like a job-hopper. If anyone were to ask, it just didn't work out. Nothing wrong with that. Good luck!

Will the job you are considering help you with this, or does it not really matter?

then I think you should leave your current job since you don't like it. you've been offered another job, one that you've had lots of training in, one that you'll like better.
