Oh my god, stop this now.

No more. It's done, stop making these. I just saw the commercial for this one on Syfy and I was thinking "Wait, what happened to Paranormal Activity 2? That already came out, you say? What the fuck..." They're trying too hard to milk this shit.

Hmm. I'm not too sure what to make of this. The first film wasn't too bad because it was obviously the original and everything was relatively new, then the second one tried too hard to create the tense atmosphere and then ultimately failed but apparently this one is supposed to be the most action filled; so if that's true then I hope they don't fuck it up.

How can you guys be so sure that it will be lame? Have you even seen it yet? The Movie Critics say that it is pretty good. ''Early reviews have been positive, with review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes awarding the film an 87% "Fresh" rating out of 13 reviews.''

I'm not going to see it in theaters. I haven't seen any of them really, so I'd like to watch them all in order.

I've watched them on and off when they have been on, never been really interested to be perfectly honest, it's way to hard to scare or frighten me as i'm the most mellow laid back guy ever, nothing surprises me. I'm sure one of my mates will want to go with me so i will end up seeing it.

hmm.. i like watching horror movies but paranormal activity never impressed me. hmm i will watch it but not in theaters. maybe i'll wait for it on youtube or movie sites lol.

edit: and my response to the person below me... i have watched paranormal activity on theaters and didn't really impressed me, i think because i have watched better horror movies. and fyi... i'm watching asian horror movies on my laptop and some of them really freaks me out, and that is your opinion i don't have nothing bad against it.. if you're a fan of paranormal activity, then good watch it on theaters, we are just giving our opinion about the movie. no need to take it seriously lol.

If you guys watched it on your tv's at home you're going to think it's shit. If you decide to make an even worse decision and watch it on a fricken laptop on some shit video streamer you're going to get nothing out of it.

The cinema is the only place a movie like that as any chance at doing what it's set out to accomplish.

What's funny is people I know who said the Blair Witch Project was frightening are saying this film is terrible. Grow up.

I watched the first film at the cinema and a lot of friends of mine watched the second at the cinema. They were both pretty bad.

It was a pretty good movie, it could have been better - more scary areas but the plot was good! :)

I liked Blair Witch. Didn't scare me much, scarier that this stuff however.

If it doesn't scare ME, then you're doing it wrong. Actually, if it doesn't scar me for life, then you're still doing it wrong. And it is really easy to scare me.

It seems dumb to me, but I don't wanna watch it, just in case I get scared. But this isn't a website where we bring peoples opinions down. The OP asked if anyone was gonna see it in the theaters. Not, "What do you guys think of it." Thanks :)

That's probably because they've seen the Blair Witch Project already, Paranormal Activity shares a similar but inferior idea. Ever since the Blair Witch project people have been trying to copy that camera-guy-walking-around-but-you-can't-tell-what-the-fuck-is-going-on kinda horror. So far, in my opinion, Monsters (I think that was the one) was the only movie that actually didn't do a bad job. The rest were pretty crap. Paranormal Activity was okay but I wouldn't compare it to the Blair Witch Project.

None of them are scary.

In the third one it was the ending scene which was creepy. Other than that, if you thought the rest of the film was scary then you're retarded.

Saw it. Wasn't scary. Think it was just for story purposes. Apparently some guy left and was crying in the lobby of the whole cinema place. I was like "Tha FUUUUUUUUUUCK?!"

Well,i saw it a few nights ago.I thought that the first two movies were so lame and unrealistic and i even laughed at few scenes. The third isn't really that scary compared to real horror movies, but it scared the crap out of me.It's probably because i expected less of the movie.I just keep replaying some scenes in my head, especially the one when the man gets out of bed and find pictures in the kitchen taken down and the look on his mother in law's face.Ughh.But if somebody just retold me the movie or if'd watched it at home i probably wouldn't be as scared.
