I was asked if I was gay today at school and I said no. I'm straight and I always will be. Then they said I was the most ignorant "republitard" to ever live. Then they told me how gay people don't have a choice, they were born that way. So I used their logic against them and I said that I was born straight and that's who I am. But they said I was ignorant and wrong.
Grrrrrr. I'm so frustrated right now.
P.S. It's the ranting girl at my school who keeps protesting against the religious and the republicans.

OK, you've been posting about the same problem here for weeks.
Why be frustrated? If you don't believe them, or what they're saying, then don't.
It doesn't matter what they say, since it is wrong.
Why make such a big deal out of it over and over?

exactly, you aren't gay, so who the fuck cares what they think?

This sums things up nicely.
Do they think they know you better than you know yourself or something? The reason they probably keep pestering you about it so harshly is because they have some kind of insecurity about themselves; perhaps sexuality related.
The bottom line is, you haven't got anything to prove to anyone. You've told them you're straight, and that's all there is to say. If they don't believe you, just laugh and walk away. Ultimately, they probably just want a reaction out of you, so don't give them the satisfaction. I don't actually understand how they can call you ignorant.

Yeah, Bogumil is right, just don't pay her any attention. She is doing it because it gets her attention. As long as you are comfortable with who you are, I say ignore it.

Why are you frustrated? Why the need for counter-attacks? Did you offend them in any way? Why did they refer to you as a "republitard?"

they asked me a question and i answered and they said i was an ignorant "republitard". and i'm frustrated at the point that i have never made fun of gay person, and what makes it right for people to make fun of me and bash me for me being straight?

The obvious answer here would be to ignore them, but we both know you don't want that answer. So I'll tell you this... Kids bully one another because you may be different. Apparently gay or not.... Most kids don't loose that character trait. While it is immature of them I think it best you leave it be.

Hey Cybercode,
How similar our situations are is astounding. It's rare a day that passes when people don't ask me if I'm gay- I'm not.
It's frustrating, it's insulting, it hurts. Not because being gay is a "bad" thing but because it carries such a stigma and they're asking for all the wrong reasons.
I've come to just accept it and if they don't believe me then, well, that's the way it is. They can believe what they wish. I know it makes it more difficult to find a girl and I know it's really disheartening sometimes but you'll make it through this.
Feel free to message me Cyber.
Good luck and best wishes.
