Close your eyes (first) Move closer, pucker up your lips a little, make contact, and just go with the flow. Careful with too much tongue though, keep it simple for starters. If you need practice, you can practice on a mirror, that works good, or use your arm or hand.

I was like you also. Scared but the first time it just happened..was natural. I didn't practice in front of a mirror...
I think that some people are just naturally good kissers and others have to work on it to get it right.
You really won't know until that first time... but relax ... most are in the same boat as you..its a natural thing that just happens and it is not pathetic.
