Ok so I'm a guy and quite the flirt as well. And I'm just curious. A lot of guys, including myself wonder if WE (the dudes) are supposed to text/call first or if it is a mutual thing. If a guy sits by the phone all day waiting on a message from that one special chick and he doesn't get it does that mean: 1. She was waiting on him to text her or 2. Is she just not interested....Just a seemingly popular question I thought I would ask the clarify. Any help is appreciated:yummy:

Dude, Every girl is different, Some girls want you to call them, some times they will want to call you. Everyone has a different personality, and feels differently about how to approach relationships.

Ok say you call and you are looking at the person as a potential "interest" and when you get a hold of them they are not interested in talking, so basically you have just embarrassed the piss out of yourself. On the flip side, you don't call, she was waiting, and now she is somewhat upset that you didn't...Like you said, everyone is different I just thought there might be some sort of tendency.

Well, just because you call, you don't have to bring up relationship. One way to do it is to start a conversation. Text her or something and ask "what's up?". If she replies and ask you the same then you could tell her that ou were bored and thinking about her so you figured you would talk to her. In the case of being afraid to humiliate yourself, ambiguity is your friend :)

Girls like me are shy. I say, if he texts/calls first, then I will begin texting/calling him too.
I have this one friend (who I would NEVER like, btw) and we text all the time now. We don't like each other, and HE texted first. Now I'm completely comfortable with texting him.

Ok what does it mean if you are talking to the girl after you text first and they just quit answering. Like they answer when you first text them and several times after that but on a random note they don't answer, and give no explanation as to why?

maybe they became busy or had to go somewhere or their parents got mad at them and grounded them or something... srry im bad at giving reasons but i thought it might help a little
