This girl I like - opinions :)

Hi everyone,

There's this girl back in fifth grade named Elise - we were really good friends at the time. She was a beautiful girl, not one of those ones stuck up ones. We'd known each other since first grade.

In fifth grade she moved to a school/area 100 kilometres away, over 50 miles if you're American. At the time I didn't mind - she was just a friend after all.

In seventh grade I found her on facebook and spoke to her - she was still the sweetheart/kind-hearted girl she was back in fifth grade. I've always had in the back of my mind I'd probably never set eyes on a more aesthetic (perfect) female in my life.

It's eighth grade now and I've begun to really like her. She liked me in the past however over time it died down. I just messaged her on facebook for the first time in a year just recently and I hope that we develop a 'more than friends relationship over time'. Who knows.

I cannot express how much I love her. ♥

You would not know until you ask.
But there has been a 3 year gap in your friendship, but realistically people change, perspectives and goals would as well; As much as your perspective of her as a friend to liking her.
Especially during our andolesent years.

I'd suggest alittle work on your part to bridge the friendship. Knowing what happened around her for the past years would aid on your progression.

It would be bold to assume she would like you back at this point, but on the other hand it's not an impossible task either.
Take it a step at a time.

And to answer to your question, yes go for it.

Exactly. If you really feel this way about someone then they're the person you should be going for.
