It's not normal at that age, but Im pretty sure it can be fxed. He should see a doctor, there are probably medicenes or methods to get it to stop. Dont say anything other than give him some advice like go see a doctor. If you say anything else you could make him feel bad, he probably already feels really bad about doing it in the first place.

I'm pretty sure there are tablets you can take to sort it, and no, it's not really normal.

haha :P
It's not really common at that age, but it can be sorted pretty easily. I think you should tell him w/o hurting his feelings. I think he should go see a doc, and the doc would probably give him some pills or ask him if he went to the bathroom before he went to sleep. It's probably just an accident and not a reoccuring thing so maybe it's not all that bad and you should just ask him 'you know what's up with that?' :)

i know someone that is 10 and still wets the bed. his parents have put him through therepy and have wasted thousands of $$$ and he still does it. now he has to wear goodnites. they are not really sure what it the problem is. but your friend is not alone and dont make fun of it cuz he cant control himself. its not his problem. its his body.

In some cases with nutrition levels being so high the body is developing ALLOT faster than it used to 100yrs ago puberty didnt start till 16-18
but the bladder isnt like our other organs
its development is still slow
for some kids this means they wet the bed up untill around 14-15
its not something plesant
but it does happen
and its not something they can really control
well...no fluids befor bed i guess i unno
dont tease him about it cause that would make you a severe ass
this isnt his fault

oh also i dont think there are any meds for this
it would be quite dangerous if you think about it. its not that good to block your bladder so it doesnt release

i used to regularly wet the bed until about 8 or 9. i do it VERY rarely now, and its only if i drink like 32oz of fluid before bed, which is perfectly normal.
he will be able to decrease his problem if he doesnt drink fluids before bed. that will decrease it a lot.
tell him what i said if he does it again...but that can make him feel uncomfortable to talk about it. or, what you can do, is make him feel really happy, is to drink a lot before bed at his house, causing you to wet the bed, and then you will be like, "oh i heard if you dont drink liquids and go to the bathroom before you go to bed, then you wont pee the bed. please dont tell anyone though"
that will make him able to think that his problem isnt as bad as he thinks.

I still wet the bed and I am 13, but some of the other people are right, I find that if I don't drink lots of liquids before bed then I have time to quickly release my pee in the morning if I wake up quick enough.. oh and btw I wet to a urologist about it and he gave me medicine and themedicine worked like a charm but I dont take it anymore. P.S. I hate not being able to have something to drink at like 10 am because of it.
