i have dyslexia too, but how it sounds in ur situation is ur just having issues with handwriting. the main problems from dyslexia are things like reading and handwriting. also most importantly UNDERSTANDING that is a big problem with dyslexia. i suffer everything i just mentioned above but have overcome some areas of dyslexia. if you have any concerns about dyslexia feel free to vm or pm me when you can.

My sister has dyslexia, she was diagnoised years ago and wen through a special program at the Masonic Temple and she now has amazing grades because of it. The reason I am saying this is because I do not have dyslexia but I know what it is like. My sister went to an Education Psychologist who helped my mom and I understand what it is like to do things with dyslexia.

For example, I play piano and can accompany choirs and such and I have been playing since I was around 8, my sister who started at the same time I did really cannot play anymore than 2 notes at the same time, so, with this psychologist I sat down at the piano and she gave me a special pair of glasses and it seriously fucked me up, I tried to play a rhapsody, whick is realativly easy for me but I couldn't get through the first stanza without meesing up horribly.

Needless to say I want you to know that I know what it is you are going through and I can sympathize with you.

Lemme know if you need anything, I am always here.

I have dyslexia as well. It runs in my family. My dad has dyslexia, my uncle, my brother, my sister.

I'm not gonna lie, dyslexia sucks. Sometimes i'll be trying to read at school or on my leisure and i get so frustrated because i can't read. Same with math. I'll look at an equation, or whatever we happen to be doing that day and it just looks like a big mess and numbers won't register in my brain as numbers, just a bunch of funny looing lines.

Haha, yea, I get that all the time and it takes time to figure out what all those lines(symbols) mean again, then to keep those things in my working memory.

My main tip to anyone with dyslexia would be to research the heck outta it and understand what it effects and then search for tips from others around the web. Taking organized notes that I could look back on and understand was one of my largest acomplishments. Google "Dyslexic note taking"

Other then that your lucky you found out your dyslexic while your in middle school, this makes a huge difference in self esteem. I didn't find out till after high school. Those assholes didn't tell me I was borderline dyslexic in till I emailed asking my high school the year after.

Whatever... organization is a challenge as well, especially if your an open minded person who likes to keep your options too open.

See I don't know if this is considered dyslexia, but I work in fast food and I always get the numbers on the screen mixed and jumbled... It's very confusing and embarassing sometimes. I mean I can see what the numbers are but they mix in my head and instead of saying "it's $1.19" I sometimes would say "it's $1.91"...

I have dyslexia as well. I have trouble expressing what I'm thinking verbally, I also can't for example look at something my teacher has written on the black board and copy it to my paper. It's like it leaves my mind the second I stop looking at it.
I also invert numbers and letters. Like, I see "back" and I think "beech".

I have it to. Sometimes every thing gets all jumbled in my head and I end up writing words and numbers backwords.
