One of the best bands I have ever heard. Their songs are so fucking thought provoking and eerie and just all around fantastic works of art. I can go hours listening to their music without getting bored. Who else likes them, and those of you who actually do like them, which is a small minority since I know of only Adam and Tim besides me liking them. And I urge everyone who clicks on this thread to listen to the songs. I know they're long, but trust me, the length of times goes by fast and the music is great that you don't even notice that it's been twenty minutes.

I like GY!BE, considering they were the band that got me into post-rock. I think albums like "Lift Your Skinny Fists..." and "F#A#(infinity)" aren't their best. Stuff like "Yanqui UXO" and "Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada" are some of the best examples of post-rock.

I love Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven and F#A# are their best, actually. Slow Riot is definitely the greatest EP I've ever heard, though. I mean, Jesus fucking Christ. And I love every aspect of Yanqui, but I feel Skinny Fists captivates atmosphere and eeriness so much better.

I've got Yanqui and Lift Your Skinny Fists..., they're both really good. Yeah, they were probably the first post-rock band I heard.
