I have, but it was a misunderstanding and it was quickly resolved. Some guys just cannot face what they did..sad but true.

No. However it's understandable why some guys would do that, it's too awkward being normal with people that they've done things with so they just stop talking and keep their distance. I'm still very close to one particular friend that I did something with and the reason that we're still good friends is that we never mention it, I quite often forget about it entirely - which, in my opinion, is the best thing to do in a lot of situations like that.

I agree. Yes it happens, and will as long as people have the fear of being different. If they want to pretend it never happened, then that's your cue to do the same.

Often it's not until later that they realize that perhaps you have done stuff with others also, that you may have, or may develop, a bit of a reputation, and that socially it's wise not to be seen with you.

I wish I could say choosing older, wiser, more confident friends helps. It doesn't.

Oh yeah, I've had this happen. It hurts, but all you can hope to do is make sure that person knows you don't bear any harsh feelings towards them. If you attempt to fix the rift, it'll only get bigger. There are some problems, like these, which only time can mend, and if that fails, it probably won't fix itself at all. :/

I think that was un called for. Now I bet they pick on you. wow, If a friend did that to me I'd be mad and sad...

But I am normally on the other end so I'd probably be the one to people my friend is gay. (which I'd never do and I am pretty sure he is not)
