Where do you cut?

I was wondering where you guys cut. I usually do it on my upper arm and I'll hide the scars and cuts with a white T-shirt under my other T-shirt so I have two layers of protection. Where do you guys cut? Do most people cut in the same place?

When I first started I mostly did it on my left upper arm. (I'm right handed) That worked for a long time until about two years ago, then it went down to my lower arm. Now if I do it, I try to keep it on my upper arm because of work and everything.

I used to do it on my lower left arm (it would be just covered) i'd hide it with long sleeves.
But now that its summer if I do that people ask Q's so i've switched to my lower right arm, just below my wrist and then I hide it with a sweatband

when i cut, i started on lower left arm, then moved onto the top of my legs aswell as both wrists

Yeah, I didn't start this thread to hear your comments. I started it because I was I was curious if there was a particular place where everyone cut. If you have comments that are off topic PLEASE keep them to yourself because I don't want to hear them and they are off topic from the thread.

I cut on my wrists, and upper arm. For the scars to go away I cut a lot in the winter and fall and slow down at the beginning of spring and i get sunburnt really bad on purpose so the scars look the same as the rest of my skin. It's reallllly hard to slow down though because you become addicted.

yea that would bother me to cut on my knees...idk..wouldn't your parents see your scars when you wear shorts?

it does bother me a little. i actually don't own any shorts, except to wear to dance but i wear tights under them. i haven't actually worn shorts besides that in like 2 years.

oo....don't you get hot in summer then?? well i guess it depends on where you live...but anyway thats just a place where i've never heard of someone cutting but hey theres a first time to everything.

I did it on the underside of my mid right arm. It was the first arm I had my cast off of. After I was caught by my principal, I started on my thighs.

Sadly I just cut two days ago on my left arm for the first time, it doesn't matter cuz I always were my jacket, so it covers it completely...

Well, when I started cutting, I started on the underside of my left wrist. My friends started noticing, but since they're blind to the fact that I need help, they didn't think much of it. I then started to cut on my stomach, where I didn't think people would see. I now cut on my lower abdomen so it won't show in a bathing suit, and I cut on my palms and blame it on my cats.

Those aren't uncommen places...i have a friend who cuts (I do too), and she cuts on her ankles and then like wears shorts and the teachers look directly at the cuts and they don't do anything about it! my other friend got caught but his life is really Fucked up, and now he has to go to a counselour but for the girls they don't even care...sides our speech teahcer..

I started cutting wen i was really young...i stoped now i had 2 go through yrs of crap to make me stop. i used to cut on my ankles because my shoes would cover the marks....i also cut the underside of my fingers right were the crese is from ur nuckle it always looked like a paper cut or something??? I cut my wrist 1ce 2 but it bled 2 much and made a mess in the bathroom (or were ever i was cutting) and thats how i got in trouble wit my dad he put the peices together blood scars....let me give ya all advice...stop cutting casue counselours are really f*cked up!

i cut everywhere where ever i can cut i do.... but my left lower arm is my main spot... i.use box cutters razors knifes..... what ever works.... i cut burn and staple myself...
