the butterfly project... i need some help

So the closest person to me i atleast consider... we do not talk one bit and just found out more stuff that literraly made me shake from all pent up anger but that aside i still love her im not sure as a relationship but as a friend totally i still consider her my bestfriend (she knows bout my self harm but thinks i do it for attention) anyways i saw someone posted about the butterfly project and how extremely close people sometimes draw the butterfly and write their names... and shes the only person i can legit not hurt (long stories) but anyway what do you guys think of asking her?
and then all my other close friends i dont want them knowing so i would either write their names or just not at all
but wat about the girl i do not talk to as of now?

You don't have to tell her you're doing it, just draw a butterfly on the area where you cut and name it after her. When you feel like cutting, think of her. Cutting this butterfly is cutting her, killing it, is killing her. That's how the butterfly project works. It isn't about letting the other person know as much as it is about you knowing. yea i know and the person i was gonna have draw it... said wat the hell is wrong with you when i told her i did it.... i went to her for help.... just made it worse but yet still with her... in my mind and idk i kno i dont have to but thought it was a good idea since i considered her closer to me then my skin if you get sorta wat i mean,, but i will prob just do tht thank you <3

Not everyone will understand. Not everyone wants to understand. as harsh as this sounds, some people cannot handle your problems, some are better left alone. Not all secrets can be shared. Not with everyone. I truly hope you'll find someone someday who will listen, help and comfort. Until then, hold on and survive on your own.
