I'll start with one example for you.
The future.
Sure, it may feel good to do it, and probably always will.
But what if there came a day you wanted/had to quit? How would you if you are addicted?
Always try to stop when you are ahead. It may be difficult, but just imagine if you tried a year or two later....
Good Luck, :)

Do you know if you are physically addicted to them?

This sort of thing gets very dangerous because once we get attached to an anti-depressant, we always feel as if we need it to feel fine. The truth is, it's a temporary veil. It masks the pain with a mist over the mind for a short time but eventually your realistic way of thinking will begin to become rather hazy. and when it gets to that phase, I'm afraid giving up is harder than anything you will had to face.
It's better to take care of the pain in natural, normal ways and not taking pills to temporarily ease the hurt. You don't want these things to be a part of you and your personality.
Start a journal, write a story, make a song and/or meditate. There are also helplines where you can anonymously have conversations with people who'd love to help, otherwise we're here.

If you attempt to avoid the pills for a day and end up with a headache, vomiting, or various other pains, you likely have a physical addiction. Depending on the meds you're abusing, stopping them immediately can have drastic consequences and you may need to titrate down off an abusive dose.
If you're using Xanax, et al. you need to take smaller and smaller doses before cutting yourself off. Benzodiazepines (Xanax, Lectopram, Klonopin, etc.) have very serious physical addictions, as do many anti-depressants.
It is in your best interest to stop popping. Your reality does change after a while and you will end up in the worst depressive state you've ever encountered if you try to stop after this occurs. You think that the initial depression that caused the desire to take the pills was bad, but you haven't yet experienced the level after stopping.
Every day without the pills will bring you pain, but eventually this subsides and you can see the world through your own eyes again. Good luck, you can do this.
