I just saw it on the news, I'm one year older than the person who the story was about.
I watched it all, and I'm the same, other than getting more hair I haven't really gone through puberty.
I really don't know what to do, months ago I went to my Doctor and told him I was really depressed about my voice and he just said it'd come naturally.
What am I supposed to do?

how old are you?
anyways, do you have hair in ur pubic area?
how about your parents? do they have little hair at places like the upperlips, hand, legs?
i have a friend who's literally hairless. it was genetics i guess?

I'm 18, I do have hair in my pubic area.
Not sure about my parents, but it can't just be genetic hair loss since the other puberty factors haven't happened, like the deeper voice etc.

I wouldn't worry, personally, I'd kill to be in your posistion, however, i have a friend (admitedly we are onky 15) but his voice has just started to go and aw far as I know, he has no hair or adams apple or anything yet. People just bloom at different times, its fine. Some would also say lucky, as when you did ur exams you likely wouldnt be subject to mood swings or be distracted quite as much.
If you get to 21 and there's no progress, then you can worry. But you say you have pubic hair, so thats progress, right?

Thank you Wheatley ^^
Since seeing the news report this morning it depressed me a bit, it's nice to hear something re-assuring.

It will happen. Acknowledge that fact 100%. It may be later than you want, but there's obviously nothing you can do.
Most likely, there is no problem. It is genetics.
Some kids go through it at 12, and other's are barely starting at 16+. Don't worry about it.
Things will come eventually, and just enjoy life, and don't worry so much about the future.
You'll get there...

Honestly... If all you've gotten is more hair (by the way, where do you have "more hair") then you probably have too low testosterone levels and I would think the doctor would have had your hormones checked...

Well, I have some under my arms and some "south of the equator" so to speak.
My head hair is pretty light coloured, so it's not exactly big thick bushes.

As you have public hair this means puberty has started. It may be later than you want and you may be at an earlier stage of puberty now than you want to be but as it has started it will almost certainly run its course. Medical intervention is not normally considered as an alternative to being patient.

dude puberty is different for everyone, everyone goes through it at different times and at different stages, my first change was hair too, when I was 12 I already had hairy legs, but my voice didn't even start changing until I was about 15, so yeah I mean I had legs like a monkey and talked like a girl for a couple of years. Don't worry, everything will even out eventually.
