Well, just act normal. There is nothing worse than acting like a complete retard, JUST to try to impress someone. Find someone that shares similar interests? And lastly, do NOT be shy! I know a ton of people who will run away if a girl wants something as simple as a hug!

Find out what she's interested in and do that. If you're just yourself and she hasn't already shown an interest then she likely isn't going to. Try to talk to her, about anything, as often as you can - do try not to be too annoying though.
