Why is it soooo hard for me to get gf but for my older brother getting a BF is as easy as *snaps fingers* that. Now my brother is 18 and is as gay as a two doller bill and he's never had trouble finding a bf. As soon as he would break up with someone not even a week later he'll find someone else. And it's been this way ever since he came out of the closet when he was 15 or 16. But me on the other hand "15 and str8 btw" havn't had a gf in TWO years. Why is it soo hard for me to find a gf while it's so easy for my bro to find a bf??? I just don't understand. My Mom tells me that he just lies allot and shiz. I just don't know.

2 dollar bills are gay? That's a new one.
..and the simple answer is cuz he's gay. girls like to play the hard to get game and hide their interest...gay guys...not so much...usually.

I think maybe... he meant... as queer? I don't like the word, but if he means queer as in different.. like a 2 dollar bill is.

No it's just a southern phrase. I haven't heard it up here in Virginia where I live. But I've heard it some in Tennessee. I don't really understand it either lol I I just like the phrase cause it's so weird and different.

Your brother is probably quite gay and proud of himself, and has a lot of confidence and experience so he knows how to attract what he wants, and how to get it. You'll be good man, 15 is no big deal to have a gf or not, maybe join some sports or something, you'd get to know all the cheerleaders and their friends and stuff and get invited to parties and get many opportunities to hang out and talk to and get to know girls that way. Your time will come, don't worry so much about it!:yeah:

Gay as a two dollar bill is a phrase common to the south and west. Gay can sometimes be used as queer and queer translation is "strange" so the literal translation "It's as strange as a two dollar bill" but what he meant (and what the translation means) is "he's REALLY definitely gay. Out and proud".
I hate to generalize and, of course, this isn't true in all cases but homosexual relationships tend to initiate and progress MUCH quicker and easier than heterosexual relationships. If I were to guess it'd be because gay men know what the other wants much easier than a man to a woman. Men can read one another so much easier.

here is irony for you, i have a twin brother, he is straight, iam gay. he has ben with his girlfriend now for... 3 years, me, im single and have gone through about 4 boys in the past 12 months. i know what your feeling.
but, as others have said, as a rule, gay relationships progress quicker, and obviously in your brothers case, he can find a new boy easily. remember he is 18, this means he is able to meet alot more people than you are at 15. dont dispare, we are only young and no need to get into a relationship yet.
if you want to, get talking to girls, befriend them, it will lead to wonders

I think it is down to confidence, your brother is confident about asking guys out, whereas your not confident in asking girls out.
