I have daddy issues

Hey in Ethan and I have an issue with my father. He doesn't appreciate me nor respects me. He blames my parents divorce on me and finds excuses to leave when ever I want to spend time with him. He's in the army and we don't see each much he only talks to be once a year on Christmas and last year he got mad at me for not saying happy fathers day. His main issue with me is I don't want to be in the military. Every male rector since as long as we can remember had done military service

I am sorry but I think he might just be taking this a little hard.....maybe you could try to set down with him and see if you can talk about it. Help him to see yoru reasoning why you do not want to go into the military. Maybe distancing himself is his way of deal with his problems....
