Actually, yes. I kind of wondered if my entire life was just a dream. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I thought of this when I was about eight :P

I thought you had brown hair anyway (irrelevant, but no matter :P)

This happens to me also. Sometimes I'll wake up during a dream, and try to fall asleep to continue it :D worked sometimes too

I also will sometimes take certain parts of dreams, that I didn't know were dreams, and apply them to reality until I figure it out

I had a dream where I was expelled from school, and I honestly thought I'd been expelled the day before :P

If you find yourself 'awake' in a dream, that would technically be called lucid dreaming.

YOU AREN'T DREAMING AT THE MOMENT, NO WORRIES.
You're grounded from the TV, son.

But, anyway, I've had a lot of dreams that when I woke up, I wished they were real...but I guess some of the best things and worst things only happen in the other realm: the astral and dreaming realm.

I used to think life was a simulation game and this was actually a game and when I died, I would wake up in my "real" life, if that counts.

Does it matter if this entire life is a dream?

If it is, we wake up and get to do something else (or it's crazily Matrix-y). If it's not, we don't. Simple as that.

LUCID dreaming, on the other hand, awareness of a dreamstate while you a dreaming, is completely real and utterly amazing if you've ever experienced it.

I become lucid a lot, but I'm too lazy to do anything special.

Is it sad if I also used to think that :3?

It's more scary than amazing, to me at least. I knew I was dreaming & kept trying to wake myself up but I couldn't.

Keeping the dreamstate like that is difficult to begin with. I'm rather jealous.

I'm always had issues with reality. Most of the time life is surreal to me. Sometimes I'll need someone to tell me what happened the day before because I don't know which parts are real and which are imagined. The possibility that I'm dreaming, or hallucinating right now is very real to me. Sometimes I'll tell someone a story or think of an event and later discover it never actually happened.

If I 'woke up' right now as a psychotic nutcase restrained in a psychiatric hospital, I wouldn't be surprised.

reality is a very fragile term anyway. Every sees the world in a different way. You're reality isn't someone elses. What may not be real to you may be real to someone else. I think on some level, we're all not quite in reality, assuming reality is the ultimate truth of the world. We are all influenced by perceptions, or experiences and our values.

Besides, reality is overrated.

Haha also at the age of eight. But as you grow you become more rational with the questions you ask and answer.
