I don't really know how to start this off, so here it goes lol. My legs (calves) are really big. They are no where near fat or anything. They are actually very muscular. I don't know why they are so big and I would like to know why. My dad says that its because they are muscular, but idk. (I play a lot of sports: soccer, track, basketball, baseball) mostly all running sports. I hope it's because they are muscular and not because theres something wrong with me. I did think it was because I used to be chubby 2 years ago (lol), but I can't really see why they would still be big because of that (I lost a lot of fat and gained a lot of muscle)

If you can tell me why they are so big please do. Also I don't know much about this stuff so please don't call me stupid if I should know. Thanks :yeah:

There are two main muscles that make up the 'calf'. These are the gastrocnemeus and soleus. These two muscles are extensors of the ankle joint, so in the sports you mentioned those two muscles would be worked a lot from all the running. This is likely the reason you have big calves. If you're wondering how I know this, it's from sports medicine. Also, I do a lot of running and biking but my calves are super slender, it might be because I'm tall, not sure. Hope I answered your question.

Yeah, it's completely normal if you're running a lot.
