So here's the deal
I had a really tough summer this year and I think I changed because of it. My friends have really started to distance themselves from me cause I've gotten a lot more reserved.
It really kinda pisses me off because it's pretty obvious that I'm having a rough time but they really don't care. But honestly, I'm done. I'm through with them.

I really want to make some new friends, maybe join a new group but everyone at my school is just like them. I really don't know where to look.

Maybe my standards are too high? I just want some friends who are fun but can be people I talk to.

I think its best to just chat I mean it must be an over exagration to say that "EVERYONE" at your school is like that. You should just be yourself and talk to as many virateys of people as you can. hell it could be worse like what happend to me, I ended up in a foreign country where only a few people spoke english so I had a tuff time making friends. Just talk to people its the best thing that you can do.

You are looking for a higher quality friend now? That means that there are fewer of them out there and they are harder to find. You may need to look at people who have lived through hard times themselves. Less popular, less talkative. In the end it will be an improvement. Don't be mad at your old friends, just be glad that you found out about them now. Yes, LOOK for people who are less desirable physically and behaviorally.
