OK. I have returned to VT but I'm in a big pickle. After this thread and I get my help, not bashing but help, I will leave. </rant>

But anyway, my friend asked if I can come over his house and I said yes as long as it's OK with his parents. He put me on hold as he was asking his parents. So I hung up and let him call back. Well he did and he said they said no. I was ok with it and whatever.

But just about an hour ago he called and said his parents said no because they claim to have caught me masturbating at their house. I told him that I would never masturbate at any body else's house. I never have and I never will. (I'm the type that's too uncomfortable to even go pee at someone else's house. Let alone masturbate.) I honestly don't know if he is making it up or not, but I told him I will talk to his mom on this. Also, that I want him to know that I want him to be completely honest because I don't want to go to his mom and find out that he was making it all up. I don't want him to get in trouble.

So my thing is: Should I confront his mother on this, with the risk of him getting into serious trouble ending our friendship of 4 years?

Other advice is needed please.

Hey, let's not backseat mod. It's basically like trolling the other member, and that's not very nice, now is it? Leave it up to us. :)

If it bothers you so much, confront her. That's simple.

I reckon go to his mom and ask her (with him present) of the allegation that you apparently praticed a privately sexual act in their household is true. Obviously you don't have to say it like that but that's a tad vague and least awkward for you and her.

If he's lying he might back out at the last second. If he's lying just embaress you, laugh it off and get him back.

Before you confront his mother, tell him that you're going to do so. If he's lying he may take it back for the sake of not making a fool out of himself and embarrassing the both of you while making an extremely awkward confrontation to top off the cake. Otherwise, confront her and ask why she said that about you if it's not true.

I would assume he is the one lying, but that's my friends and their families. You should be able to take an educated guess after 4 years.

Drop hints that you are upset and let him take the initiative to fix it. If he does want to sever ties with you, let him do so in a dignified manner. People change. Do not get in between anyone and their family, no good can come from it.
