If you trust him tell him. They won't take you away. Although they might tell your doctor.
You get out of therapy what you put in and your there so you might as well tell him about it.

If you think he can help, than yes. Also, make sure that you trust him as a person. It's fine to tell him, it's his job to help you. If you trust him, and he is a good peros\\son, then he will help you.

If you've been diagnosed with depression, wouldn't your psychologist know? What is your psychologist treating you for? If you cut in a way that endangers your life, they are obligated to share that. However, if they're shallow cuts or if they are not it places that may cause you to bleed excessively, that's fine.
If you trust your psychologist, tell. Hell even if you don't, I think you should. Psychologists are there to help you get through your issues and problems. You don't have to trust them. I don't trust any of the 5 professionals I've been to.

I would suggest that you tell him/her anyways because if they do not know everything about you than how can they give you a proper treatment, they may have to treat you differently because of your depression or your cutting. This could potentialy screw with your treatment if they do not know all of the factors.

Shouldn't your phsychologist already know about this? In the UK they need a reference letter from a psychiatrist outlining the problems. Idk how it works there, but I'm surprised he doesn't already know.
You won't be "put away." People don't get hospitalised except in extreme cases when they're a danger to themselves or others. Most self harmers don't get admitted to hospital, and most people with depression don't get admitted to hospital, you'll be fine.
I think you should tell him, he's there to help, so you if you trust him, you should tell him. If he doesn't know about it, he won't be able to help you get better.
