Expression:
How do I affect you so
When my cheeks flush red
In the cold of the snow?

How do I affect you so
When my eyes fill with tears
And I feel so alone?

How do I affect you so
When I bask in your warmth
And your chest is my home?

How do I affect you so
When I breathe my last breath
And I'm going home

Ocean:
The ocean is kind,
Lapping gently against my feet.
The ocean is mean,
Bashing against the rocks with heat.
The ocean is life,
Every breath absorbed by it's form.
The ocean is death,
A life born is a life torn.
The ocean is freedom,
A vast land of tail and fin.
The ocean is captivity,
And it's closing me in.
