</3 Stressed

So I a freshman just recently asked out a senior girl, she said "Hector you're a great guy, and so sweet, but I kinda have my eye on somebody right now" So I understood. Teared up, but understood, but I found out that the guy she's interested in is my junior best friend, my brother. My bro hasn't really said anything about it because he doesn't believe she likes him. But everyday I would go to my dads truck for some quietness, my emotions would take over and I would cry. So far It's been 3 days I've cried 5 times and I'm a varsity quarterback? I guess pisces really are sensitive. Well my bro told me not to trip because he doesn't even like her and wouldn't do that to me. But it's bothering me a lot because I've never cried for a girl before, never in my life out of all those girls I've been with, It's something about her that seperates her from the other girls. She's super nice, she wouldn't hurt a fly. She said "I'm not rejecting you it's just I have my eye on some dude at the moment". I'm not sure if she just said that to be nice, because I could tell she knew I was really down about it, and she has that abbility to bring somebody up from a depressed state. Well I know I'm not letting her go that easy, it hurts me either way, if I keep being sprung about her I'm going to keep being hurt, if I let her go I'm gonna be even more hurt. So I'm going to always "be by her side" and keep on having a thing for her until it wears off. What do you guys think I should do and what you think of this. Melody, oh darling, will you ever change your mind? :wub:

listen to what i have to say, i know.. and mean, i know what ur going through. this girl i love (and still do), shes going out with another jerk, and i really thought u had a chance, but she turned me down simular as to you. i cried too, several times, and she considers me a great friend. maybe u should talk to your bro and tell him how you feel about her liking him so he can see what your going through. and give her some time from you :)

I think that's the petty defeatist approach to take to things. You're better than that, man. Go reread the last piece of advice I gave your over this girl- you are not doing yourself any favors by carrying all the emotional baggage of being her boyfriend but not getting any of the real rewards of it.

Feel your pain man. Even if you're a beast and a badass on the field, stuff like that hurts. If it is true and she does like your bro, I actually have to give her credit. I know a lot of chicks that would have tried to go out and hook up with you, just to get closer to your bro. Like, just using you to get to him. So good for her for not being like that. Of course, that probably just makes you like her more.

For now, all you can do is take it. You probably have other girls after you, but I know you don't necessarily want any girl, you want that one girl.
