The iPhone 4s was announced Today. I have mixed feelings because ios5 is all the hype, not really the phone. What are your thoughts?

I'm not overly impressed, but it is what is says iPhone 4S, 4.5. I plan on getting a Droid soon, I am beginning to lean towards Android now.

Once again, Apple could have not made a big deal about this and just release a new iOS version. Hell, all of the improved features of the iPhone 4S could have been done that way.

I'm really looking forward to iOS5 but as people are saying the IPhone4S was a let down. It's taken them well over a year to put in a chip which they had already made, a new camera which I heard Sony helped make and to develop a voice recognition programme. I mean seriously was it actually that difficult that it took well over a year to do it?
Apple just introduced this to get money because they know apple fanboys will be out to get one and then they can convince them when that actually bring out an IPhone 5 to buy that aswell.

The point of the iPhone 4s is the fact that yes, it's faster, it has a better camera, and it can intelligently switch between two antennas... But you gotta admit, Siri is freaking amazing!

Not worth the hype of releasing it months after it was first expected. If it was released in June like always people probably wouldnt say things like this. It's like iPhone 3G to the 3GS. Not many changes. Next year will blow this thing out of the water.

This should've been the iPhone 4. Apple is slipping behind android, and while I love their designs and the "It works." factor I really hope this trend doesn't continue.

Get a windows phone, I've got an LG Optimus 7, (I'm using it now he he) best decision ever, there are dome VERY minor glitches/bugs (definetly not as many as iphone) that are being patched and fixed regularly.

The problem is at the moment I only have an iPhone 3G, so I'm quite behind and the OS that I'm currently running at the moment is a lot for my phone to cope with as it is, let along not being able to play certain games and the constant delay in various things. I was waiting for the iPhone 5 but dammit they've not made the leap, so I'm going for the 4S even though I don't really want to.

iPhone 4S is mainly for people that are looking to upgrade from any iPhone that is not the iPhone 4.

If you're on the iPhone 4, you don't really need to upgrade, but anything less than you should if you can! =D Siri is really exciting xD
