I live in the Midwest and met a woman in California on a trip and have been communicating by phone since last year. I would not ordinarily pursue a long distance relationship but the woman is from Russia and has been in the US for 3 or 4 years. I am not experienced at the LD relationships but thought since she was from Russia if would be more acceptable to her to be involved in this type of relation. Is that true? I may go back west soon and don't know how quickly to move forward. She is more honest and straightforward than most US women I have met. Any advice is appreciated.

Most on the list would not consider this a long distance relationship, maybe, intermediate. If you met an UNATTACHED Russian woman who already has her green card and is a good match for what you are seeking in a wife. Check the local dating site [REMOVED LINK] to learn more about Latvian and RW. Go for it and good luck. Just remember after the newness wears off the same aspects of any relationship apply. This is a different event, let us know how it turns out.

You keep saying "woman" and as such implying that she's a hell of a lot older than you. It is true that some relationships with huge age gaps work, but combine that with a long distance and it is going to be very tough going. It's fine if you want to be friends with her, but that is all it should be.
If she wants an American toy boy then she should aim a bit older than you.

are you in the vt age range or is she much older then you? refering to her as a woman makes her sound much older.

Second time he has done what?
Think its a bit extreme requesting a lock for this topic.

Ban him for what?! He's definitely an adult (and most likely not a young one at that) and has been spamming the forums with websites to "meet Russian ladies in the U.S.". He shouldn't be allowed on here.
REQUEST BAN (also!)

HOLY CRAP! Can't you tell?! (sorry, no offence towards you but it IS painfully obvious; just read some of his other posts and you'll know.)
Besides, even if he wasn't an adult you can BAN him for spamming about RUSSIAN DATING SITES!!
Okay!
