I have this friend named Liz, who talks badly about my best friend Sommer. For a few months, they actually got along fine, but for what ever reason, Liz started to dislike Sommer and started being a little cold, which caused Sommer to dislike her. Anyway, I was at school today with Liz (Liz and I don't go to the same school as Sommer anymore) , and we got on the subject of Sommer. She started talking negatively about her, saying how Sommer had started hanging out with the popular people when I left the school we attended last year (Liz had stayed a little longer than me) to try and be popular herself (which is untrue. She does hang out with the popular kids, but that's because she's really close to those group of people, and they're the only ones who don't treat her like crap) She said a few things about her too, and I got really defensive and pissy. I think I may have been a little harsh on her, but I just was fed up with people talking negatively about Sommer when no one really knows her. I mean, she's basically my younger sister. Liz said that everyone had their own opinion, and I agreed with her on that. But, I told her to at least not to talk bad about Sommer in front of me. I've been asking the same thing for a few months now too.
Am I wrong? Am I being biased?
I admit that Liz isn't really nice towards Sommer, which causes Sommer to not act like her normal friendly self towards Liz. But, Liz is a pretty decent friend towards me, more than decent actually.
