Liking a girl

I like this girl she's says it would be weird for us to date because we have known each other since we was like 6. We saw each other for the first time in 4 years the other day. She asked for my number, now I don't think she likes because what she told my friend which she don't see me as a bf because it would be weird because we have known each for so long. We txted all day yesterday she wanted me to sing her a song brad paisley love her like shes leaving and singing a duet together idk lol but today I txt she don't seem like she wants to txt. Saturday we txt from 10:30 to midnight yesterday we txt from 12:30 to 7:30 today only like ten minutes and all she sent me was short txts not like yesterday. Me and my friend had a fight because don't think a girl will ever like me every girl I have liked says I'm just a friend seems like will never find anyone I'm depressed I'm sitting next to my phone waiting for her to txt.

What you guys think about this situation??

Dude you don't want to appear desperate, so don't bombard her with messages and don't worry so much. Don't bare out your soul in like one day to her you've go lots of time.

I haven't txt her in 2 days she says she is watching her txts and she has unlimited txts?!? Idk ... That day she talked to me a lot said how funny I was and all this stuff. We txt that night a long time then all day the next day she even told my phone she expected me to have already txt her.. Like she wanted me to txt her. The next which I shouldn't have I txt her all I got was short txt and a lot of times didn't reply so I got upset stopped txting her didn't txt the next day then the next day I txt a little bit longer conversation. Idk today Will be the 2nd day I didn't Txt her I don't know If I will txt her
again.
