I'm starting to suspect some people have psycic powers, at least in some individuals.
What are the two chances of two people who know each other end up at the same place that is non routine. Without any communication at all.

Your thoughts?

Take Object A, a moving point along a line. Now take Object B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, AA, AB, and so on, to FF (or something along those lines). A represents a given person, and B through FF represents the "close friends" that a person is liable to have (ever heard of the 150 "close friends" study?). Those points are also traveling on a line, which (here) represents time. These lines are not curved. What are the chances of 1 point intersecting with at least 1 of the other 150 points at some given time.

Psychic powers, Extra-sensory perception, et cetera... They MAY exist, but more than likely 99% of all "reported" cases are simply hoaxes or people extremely good at cognitive thought.

It is only a coincidence.

what are the chances? very very high, after a long enough time. this is very poor evidence for anything supernatural, and is simply your not properly assessing the probabilities of various events occurring.

See, I had to go into detail. Because I'm an idiot. :D

What she (he?) said. I'm too complicated.

Yes, it's a sign from god. I'm psychic, you see. That's why, whenever I want to buy doughnuts, I just have a feeling they'll sell it in Krispy Kreme and gasp! They're selling doughnuts O__O

No, I'm joking. It's a coincidence.

My physic powers say that the sun will rise tomorrow. Odd, isn't it?

And because I'm so physic, the thread title will soon be properly spelled. ;)

That would have been awful if it didn't today.

We'd all be dead, but disregarding that fact...

Yes, but that prediction is based on a routine. An event that you have seen happening for years.

Thanks for your thoughts.

It is backed by absolutely no proof, so no, it doesn't exist.

Prove that it will happen tomorrow without my intervention.

Thanks for your thoughts.
Any time, my friend, any time ;)

Physic? I believe that you mean psychic. Your prediction that the title would be corrected was wrong, methinks :P

Psychic =/= physics
