My nearest Starbucks is 25 miles away, and I never go, except occasionally at a motorway service station branch on a long car journey, so becoming a 'gold member' would be pointless.

I generally don't buy coffee anyway, way too expensive. Maybe I will every now and then, but I can't afford to every now and then :P

I have one as I, go there often as they do really good coffee and the ocasional cake is not bad either good for if you want to talk to a few freinds and a nice way to relax after a stressful day.

It's not that kind of membership. You buy a card once and you use it as a re loadable card. The more you use your card, the more rewards you get such as free drinks and discounts. And you get a free drink on your birthday which is nice.

It's a nice program if you're somebody who drinks a lot of coffee, anyway.

Nope. I really don't like coffee, and, I use to go there often with my sister because she liked it and I would get the strawberry and cream thing but I don't go there anymore considering she passed away. No reason too. My mom likes it still, though.
