Uh, I think it would depend on your doctor's personal judgment, but they'd probably just assume that if you have one, your parents consented.

They could just assume your parents consented, but like Sage said - it depends on his judgement. Ff he disapproves of tattoos or tattoo's on minors he may bring it up to your mom just to confirm.

IMO, dont do it. Dont get a tattoo if your parents didnt give you the okay to get one. Trust me, you have a very long life ahead of you and i think anyone who has to go behind their parents back to get a tattoo is to young to be getting one in the first place.

But onto your question, your doctor might or might not tell your parents. If he thinks your parents already know about it, he wont talk about it. But he might say something to them like "wow, your son has a really nice tattoo". If that happens, what are you going to do? Just wait until you are old enough to get one, then you can get some ink done whenever you want.

If youre young enough that this is a concern, you're likkely too young to get one w/o consent. If you're managing to get one around it you're going to a bad tatooist.

I'd wait if I was you.
