Hey guys. When you're feeling down it can help to think of something that makes you feel good. I know it helps me.
so when you need to SH before you do, post on here what makes you happy and hold onto that. It could be a memory, a hobby anything just think happy thoughts :')
I'll start - I find a nice bar of chocolate and curl up with a book. x

A certain poster on here who always forgets to reply to my pm's makes me happy (Z...).
It's just comforting to know that someone understands me...
Music, reading, watching movies, or just going for a walk also help. Oh, and my strange animals who I love and would die they are taken away (yes, I would die over a tarantula, lol).
Nice thread, btw.

Sitting alone at home in the afternoon on a cloudy or drizzly day when there is no school and listening to the patter of rain while everyone else is out of the house and with the lights off so the cool blue light from the outside pours through the windows.
Okay maybe this makes me sad, but I still enjoy it :3
Or how about staying up late at night when my parents are asleep, sitting curled in a fetal position on my chair, and drinking a cup of hot chocolate. That makes me feel good.
Or maybe it's just being alone. I like being alone. At summer camp this summer I woke up extra early to eat breakfast and go to the auditorium to sit in a fetal position in the absolute darkness and listen to the tiny ticks and humming coming from the air conditioning of the building. It made me feel peaceful, like I could finally have nothing going on in my head for once. 30 minutes later other kids would arrive for orchestra. I think they thought I was creepy.

Thinking alone.
Exercise.
Talking with people who I am VERY close with.
Listening to music.
Drawing.
Time.

TV prolongs the pain. It acts as a dam for me. The pain becomes unbearable from taking myself in and out of reality in a thoughtless state. I stopped using it as a distraction about a year ago.

Listening to music always makes me feel good, it makes me forget the bad things that I'm going through and also watching the clouds go by is very comforting.

I think my main ones are talking to people that care about me and that I'm close too. Or music, I can just lose myself in a song and it's so good not to be here in a sense, just with the music :)

I think for me it's music, reading and exercising.
I agree that tv doesn't really help, and i found that talking normally makes it worse for me because it just means i find other reasons why i should

Being around my crush. Sometimes I wonder if I should tell him. He'd be nice and all, but he'd probably tell his mom who would tell mine.
*sigh*
It would get ugly.

Music is my everything, I listen to music and i'm in my own world with no worries... doesn't have to be "happy" music, just a song that takes me elsewhere :)
Dancing like a crazy person
Drawing or painting
Singing rediculous songs like the Backstreet boys
My best friend, she comes over when i'm down, puts my head on her lap and plays with my hair <3
My boyfriend singing to Adam Sandler's "At a medium pace" at the top of his lungs on a full bus ¬_¬;;
Pretty much just thinking of awesome memories :)
