View Full Version : How to avoid/get out of the "FRIEND ZONE"?

It seems as though one of my biggest problems when it comes to looking for a relationship is that I become stuck in the dreaded friend zone and I'm unable to get out of it.

Do you have any tips to avoid it or get out once already in? There's a girl that I find really, really pretty and my friends tell me she's into all of the things I am and I don't want to end up in the friend zone if I'm to pursue this.

AND: People tell me I'm "too nice" and I feel this may lead to the above dilemma, any tips to avoid this?

I live in the friend zone - I hate it. Get close but not close enough that you know them like a best friend.

I like the "friend zone" being asexual and what not. But as I see it, to get out of it it should be simple, ask them out on a date.

It's not that simple, actually, usually once friend zoned it is impossible to escape it.

If he wants to have a relationship with her, being a jerk wouldn't help.

You can't be too nice, and asking her on a date would help, especially if it's one she would remember for being amazing.

Maybe I'm crazy. :D

You can definitely be a jerk at first. In fact, a little bit of cockiness attracts them to you..and once you build that, you can show the real you because she knows you have that kind of confidence to begin with.

i broke outa the friend zone with a girl and now we do stuff all the time, i just did it slowly abita harmless flirtn here and there and told her she was realy gd lookn in a relaxed way, a few slight hints(not too obvious) and if she returned the hints and flirtn i wud do it more, then it built up and one night we kissed :P itwas gd lol worked for me may aswel try:)
