Hey,

Okay I've had a looong history with food. I've always found eating hard, well, rather I go through patches.
However, recently after taking a liking to a few boys a my school, I have been really trying hard to get risd of my acne. I've tried creams, different methods of washing and changing my diet.
Recently though I have found that my diet makes huge changes to my face, I'm not a lover of fruit but I try to eat it because it helps a lot. However, I get tired of eating the same thing over and over again, so I've resorted to not eating much at all. As no food should equal no change in acne that would add grease. Now I've gotton used to this, if people make me eat my favourite fatty or greasy foods, I really don't enjoy the taste, and afterwards I just feel horrible for eating it.

This is why I'm not eating much, I can't change this. Is there a name for this? I'm not exactly anarexic because I don't believe I'm fat, but I do worry about the way I look

I'm not sure, but I supose it would fall under an EDNOS of some sort.

I'm not sure this is really an eating disorder at all, although i'm not a doctor.

Eating disorders are usually categorised by wanting to lose weight, and by compulsive eating. From what you said, neither of those things seem like they apply to you.

You're not not eating to lose weight, therefore you are not anorexic. It seems to me you're just not eating because you don't enjoy food.

That seems a sensible deduction. I used to enjoy eating some foods but since my passion for getting rid of acne, the only thing I can think of now is either, This food will really destroy your face or this food will help my face but its really unpleasent to taste. I guess the half way line is to only eat when im really hungry and weak.

BTW, I have OCD, if I decide to do something, ill get really passionate about it and nothing will stop me.

Are you seeing someone for your OCD? Maybe you could talk to them about it. It definatley sound obsessional, but i'm not sure it's really your classical eating disorder.

Maybe try experimenting with new foods? :)
