I'm a little underwhelmed if i'm honest. The one thing I don't like about Battlefield games is i'm constantly fighting with the brightness/contrast settings. But it's more enjoyable than Call of Duty anyway.

I haven't tried playing it again since the first day of the closed beta. Computer wasn't handling it at all, even at 1024*768 and lowest settings. The lag (200+ ping) was also...horrible. It's expected though, since its a beta. I have to say my *main* complaint would be battlelog. It's not very functional

the more i play it the more i love it :D with a team of friends its soo much fun, laughing and talking clearing rooms one by one going in after one another... XD so much more enjoyable than CoD which quite frankly is getting REALLY stale i dont see how people still find it fun... anyway im definatly looking forward to 28th october for the full game :)

I managed to get my PC to play it a lot better now. Up to 40 FPS with Medium settings at 1680*1050. So I'm happy right now.

It's a lot smoother than it was two days ago.

Hi thought long and hard and some reviews of it for PS3 said it had some minor jumping glitches and contained mild glitches. I know its a beta and all but I am not going to download it. I will just be the full thing when It comes out.

It's really fun. I don't know why you wouldn't download it just because it has a couple of glitches.

The last beta version I played was Aliens Vs Preditor on the PS3 and because it was glitchy and was not a well devloped beta I went off it. I did not get it even when it came out until a few months ago.

Shame I do understand that beta are good to play but I just stick to getting it when it comes out for main stream release

I've experience no game flaw glitches in the beta on PS3. Nothing that will take the enjoyability away. The main glitch that i've noticed is whenever you miss jump a ledge, since there's a mini action that shows you leaping over the ledge.

But i've seen this happen on PC playthroughs over Youtube.

I have only really heard of 2 glitches for the PS3 really and jumping is one of them. and gun fire the other.

But as I said one beta trial of a game has ruined it so I will just wait

It's met my expectations, and they weren't that high. I have to admit that Rush mode is pretty fun.

I do like it, but they really should have included more than one map. Thete are a few annoying bugs that they need to work out before the actual release, but overall i think its gonna be a great game.

Cant wait to pick it up on release day!

Well, the thing is that they got great feedback on the other maps with the exception of this one in closed beta a few months ago. They just wanted to retest this map for balancing issues.

Ah, ok. It's an alright map, I just hope that I can't judge the whole game based on it. But if the rest got good feedback, I guess I won't be disappointed.

I think there was two maps that were on the beta, but with console they only got "operation metro" I think it's called.

I seen on youtube with PC versions there's another map available, which is much larger and has vehicles etc. Apparently that server is really hard to get on to.

Oh because DICE fixing all the glitches and tweaking the weapons was certainly not the aim of the BETA.

The beta was the alpha build of the game, actually. It took them a month to get the beta certified and all that stuff, so the game was actually the alpha, of which means all that stuff was fixed long ago. In reality, all they were doing was testing the servers and making sure they had enough room and whatnot.

Figured you didn't by the way you told that guy what you told him. And he obviously didn't know that, so it was sort of for him mostly.

I play on PS3 as well. I've played Battlefield since Bad Company 1 so i'll definitely play a lot of BF3, but at the same time i'll probably still play a lot of BFBC2 because I'm max rank (50) and top 15,000 in the world. So i don't think ill leave that game for awhile.

Beta was fun though, the glitches were hilarious. I just want to see a lot of more vehicle maps, vehicles are what make Battlefield awesome. That and destructibility, i hate the limited destructibility features in BF3. BC2 you could straight wreck everything, but now you can only do that on some maps in BF3.

Considering that the limited destruction is still on a very massive scale, I don't have a problem with it. I'd rather have that than to see a building buttfucked into the ground. The Operation Metro map had some great destructables on the outside buildings. I took an RPG and basically took down half the wall of a five or six story building.

Well I now own the game and there are a lot of distructable things in the game, but there are also a lot of indistructable things. I quite like how they did it. Though every map varies a lot and gamemodes change the gameplay beyond belief.

EDIT: If you loved either Bad Company game, you're more than likely going to enjoy this game, but don't expect it to be like Bad Company became it honestly isn't, is that a bad thing? Not at all. What people may not realize is how revamped the vehicle system is. If you have damage done to you, but you're at 85% for the vehicle then eventually, after awhile it'll slowly but surely go back up. If it's for example 30% it'll be on fire on the outside (usually where the engine is) and your vehicles health will go down unless repaired by a engineer and you will barely be able to move your vehicle rendering it useless unless a engineer can heal it in time.
