Im a girl and ive got this guy mate, were both 13, and im confused about how much he likes me. Hes been making jokes about me and him "doing things" and he picks me up, hugs me, puts his arm around me and holds my hand all the time, and people thunk were going out but were not. Im not sure if he likes me that way or is just joking around?

We can't really tell just by looking at this, he could just like you a lot as a friend or as someone he'd be in a relationship with.
If he's "making jokes" about "doing things", I'd say he's just joking around with you because he feels comfortable enough around you to do that. Same goes for hugging, hand-holding and whatnot. But that's just my opinion, as I do the same with some of my friends.
If you want to know his real motives, you should play in his jokes and see if he makes any real advance. But I think you should not worry too much about it, unless you don't like it, in that case you should tell him to stop.

maybe his just being a guy and fooling around. Or maybe his so comfortable around you that he know you don't mind him doing that to you.

Things have progressed, today he asked me to pretend to be his girlfriend, ive fone along with it, and im now even more confused about if he likes me or not?

haha. he asked you to pretend to be his girlfriend? lol? awesome . but proceed with extreme caution. there are times people would lose sight of what that thing really is. always remind yourself that its just "pretend". its better then jumping into conclusions and creating the ackward feeling around him.

thanks guys, im even more convinced he does now, the things he's been saying to me,
he told me "my eyes are really beautiful" and when i met up with him and one of my other friends, he said to me, he was dissapointed it wasnt just me he was meeting up with. i really want to ask him out now, but i dont know how..

i think he likes u he is using the joking around as an exuse to see how u would react if he ever ask u out for real wen he gets ready to ask u out or something
