Intense knee pain?

My kneecap started aching a little bit yesterday afternoon but from last night til now, I'ts been hurting REALLY badly
It's the area under and around my kneecap and every so often, it'll just start throbbing so painfully I have to lean or grab onto something.

There's little painful red bumps around my kneecap too that look like they'd be bug bites but idk what they are or if they're related to the kneecap

Anyone know where this could've come from? O_o I haven't done anything physical that could've injured it.

Well, obviously I'm no doctor, so this is just my opinion.

Depending on your age, your knees could be from growing. It could also be from over exercising or vigorous use. You may want to have it looked at though, there's a slight chance it could be juvenile arthritis.

As for the bumps, I'm going to say probably ingrown hairs or slight irritation, possible rash. You should get them checked out at the same time. Mention both of them to your family doctor on your next check-up.

I have been ravking my brains about this ever since you posted this thread and that's what I have come up with or the inflammed hair follicle, either way, if it is the hair follicle you have nothing to worry about but if it is Osgood-Slaughters then I would go and see a phyicisn, it isn't detramental in the least bit but it is something that you need to let you physician know about.

It actually ended up being a strained ACL! And the bumps came from a bug bite that I had an allergic reaction to.
