to tell or not to tell?

i have a cousin that i'm really close to. we are good friends and get along really well and always have. she now has this bf but i don't really like him. there are things that i can't put my finger on that i don't like about him. she has asked me what i think of him and i said that i liked him but really i don't. i didn't want to tell her what i really think because she is soooooo happy. i want to know if i should tell her the truth or just keep my mouth shut and just be happy for her.

Be happy for her unless there is actually something to worry about. You might just be feeling protective.

If you don't have a good reason it's best not to tell because she's going to ask why and saying you really aren't sure isn't really an acceptable answer. It really doesn't matter what you think of him as you're not the one he's with and as long as she isn't any kind of danger it's best to keep quiet.
