I went to the doctor today for high blood pressure in a child.(in 15)
An try took my blood an made me pee in a cup. What exactly are the looking for?

Okay so you say you went to a pediatric cardiologist for hypertension and they drew blood, in order to tell what they drew the blood for I would need to know what color the tops of the tubes were and not that but that name of the facility where you had the blood drawn at because not all facilities are the same, different hospitals use different tubes for different test.
I am basically saying that we cannot tell you what it is they were looking for. Or why they drew the blood, you can always call and leave a message at your physicians office and I am sure they will call you back, happy to answer any of your questions.
As for peeing in the cup, you can run many urine analysis tests, it all has to do again with what the physician ordered.
