Im 13 and will be 14 in two days, im wondering about STD's. i know its not about puberty but i think it is just as important. i know the basics about std's. ok here it is, if a woman has and STD(of any kind) and she performs oral sex on you, can you get her STD's????:confused:

from what i understand if you come into contact with their bodily fluids, then you are at risk. but i could be wrong???

You can transmit some STD's orally. Ones like herpes are transmitted very easily orally, but then it's not genital herpes, it's just cold sores. Also, many of the worse ones, HIV and such, can be, but it's not likely that they will be, transmitted orally.

Herpes (the virus, not necessarily genital but including cold sores since they're herpes too) can be transmitted orally. It takes something like a gallon of saliva to be able to transmit HIV/AIDS at once to another person....so u not need worry about getting HIV/AIDS orally. Genereally, there's no medium for most STD's to be transmitted through orally because the bodily fluids (saliva) cannot transfer that many STD's
