Looking for a best friend?

if any of you have a best friend, how'd you guys meet and get close?

I have my own little group at school but...I've never met anyone that I've really related to or connected with. I'm still looking for that best friend cause honestly, I feel lonely almost all the time.

I just want someone I can hang out with but be real with too yknow? :/

Many people look for a (true) best friend for a long, long time, some never find one. Those who do, are lucky.
I myself have never had the honour of finding a best friend, though I am probably party to that.

Well, I'd advise you to get some moments alone with the person you think you'd be more comfortable with and share with him/her. Try to have serious conversations with that person and allow her to share stuff about her too.
Afterwards you can evolve to some more serious stuff and there you have it, someone you can call a best friend.

Here this all sounds easy, but this has to be a slow process that can't be done too quickly, you just have to be patient. It's worth it, I can assure you that. :)

I've had a few in my life actually. Hmmm.... Maybe you have one, but you just haven't noticed? Is there someone in your group you hang out with the most?

If you want one, try hanging out with someone a lot. It takes time, but gradually you'll get closer to the person. Just be very careful who you let be really close to you, and that you confide all your secrets to. The wrong person can wreak havoc on your life.

I'd say I've been pretty lucky. I've had a few best friends in my life, some are still in my lives today, while others are not. There are two that I would count as best friends, but I would have to say I'm closest to my friend Sommer. I met Sommer at a summer camp (summer prison for elementary school kids) and at first I was a little afraid of her. It took maybe two months until we started to hang out, and I found that she was really nice and funny. We lost touch after camp, and it wasn't until 6th grade that I saw her again. We both were sort of glued together since we didn't know anyone else, which started a friendship. the first time I went over to her house was for a party, and she came over to mine a few weeks later. It's weird looking back on 6th grade now, because even though she was my best friend, compared to how close we are now, we might have as well been strangers to each other. Now we both know everything about one another. I know what's she like when she's not around other people, and she's one of maybe three people who know how I am when I'm not around others. Our families have become a big family now (she has a GINORMOUS family and extended family..) We're bit so close, that people mistakenly call us by the other girls names. We eventually got use to it, and we both will now respond to the others name.

From the first time I met her, to now is about the span of 3 years. I hope you find a best friend! It takes a lot of time though, but the ending results is wonderful. :)

i have a few best friends the 1 i consider to be my #1 best friend ive known practically my whole life i met pretty him much through my brother cuz he is really good friends with my best friends older brother so thats how we met n pretty much why we were always together it also helps he lives 2 houses away from me.
i agree also that you may have a best friend n just not even realize it or for all you know 1 of your friends from your tight group might consider you their best friend to me a best friend is someone who no matter what you can trust n feel you can talk to bout anythin n everythin so just think a min bout which of your friends you would feel that way bout n thats prolly your best bet of who your best friend is.
i also have 2 other really close friends that i actually met online n 1 of them i consider to be my sister i never had... the other is just a really cool girl that is nice but either way i have that trust with both of them where i feel i can tell them anythin n they feel the same way bout me.
so dont give up on lookin but i think everyone has a "best friend" its just i dont think everyone realizes they do or who it is but i hope this helps you realize who yours is
