Civilization V

I really love the Civilization games and I am considering whether to purchase the newest one. I've gotten mixed reviews-people telling me it's no different from Civilization IV (which I have now) and people telling me it's the best thing to ever hit humanity. What do you think-should I get it?

I have it. I love it. It's fun, but I haven't played Civ IV, so I can't really help you on differences. So yeah, I think you should get it.

I know it's amazing-all Civilization games are. I just want to make sure it's different enough to be worth it. I started off with Civilization III, and the change between that and Civilization IV was really huge. I don't want to waste my money only for it to be practically the same...

You could watch gameplay videos on youtube and see if it's different enough for you.

EDIT: After watching some gameplay of IV, I can definitely say that it is different enough for you to get it. But I would still advise you watching some gameplay of V to see for yourself.

I've played III and IV, my computer isn't good enough to play V

Age of Empires and Mythology are nothing like Civilization at all. I have 2 through 3 and Mythology. Their style is completely different.

Civ IV is worth getting if u have played previous Civ games or like Civ type games this 1 is the next step up fixing alot for us fan boys.And this game is so good its 1 of my top 10 games to buy

I have played sid meier's civilization revolution its good I really enjoyed it. and still play it when I want something I have to think about.
