so just recently i got my braces( not a really bad condition) and i was wondering if puberty helps speed up the correction process. If this is in the wrong place please tell me. Thanks!:)

It doesn't particularly no. The only reason they mainly do them in puberty ages now is because the teeth are settled, theres no baby teeth coming out or anymore coming through so its a good time for any straightening out. Puberty doesn't really have anything to do with your teeth as far as i know. I could be wrong though.

Probably not, but probably so.
I would think that it doesn't necessarily since teeth don't speed up during puberty. But then again, orthodontists put braces on when people turn thirteen and when their adult teeth start to grow, so I don't really know. I wear braces too. Had them on for about 1 1/2 years.
