I would say that all teenagers (male and female alike) are insecure to a degree. Some worse then others. Being labeled gay comes with a lot of bad things with it, being bullied, etc. Who wants to go through that? There is nothing wrong with not wanting to be bullied to death.

I wouldn't see how you would get bullied for just changing hahah. Everyone else is just being a lame pussy.
But anyways I'm not insecure about anything and im nt that big so Odontoceti care even still. It's just a part of our body hahaha.

No I think a lot of people are. I myself, and my friends, are all pretty comfortable showering or when just chilling. It's no big deal really.

Alot of the guys at my shcool play sports so we are all pretty comfortable with ourselves. Baseball football and cross country share a locker room, so somone is allways in the showers, there is no need to be insecure. If the guys in the locker room see someone is shy or scared they will throw out random gay compliments. Its part of being on a team at my high school.

You are right, but a lot of people don't think like that. If they did, things would be much easier.

this is true, but guys will not want to be "gay" or a "fag" so they become insecure. sad really.

Some guys are insecure, others aren't. But in Locker rooms it is normal to be looking around at others, and let them check ya back out, it isn't gay, or strange to cop a look here and there, were all curious, and there's no harm in doing so.

alot of guys are insecure about penis size i have nothing to worry about since mine is almost 6 in. but other people at 13 most likely have a 4 " its a thing wear they dont feel "manly" enough i guess

I agree. It's not necessarily homosexual at all.
Of course, I wouldn't know why one would want to get naked around other guys if it isn't just for the fun of it ^_^ Even though I find that to be a little inappropriate as well.
Most sincerely,
Robert.

it all comes down to size. If someone thinks they are small, they are insecure

With the society we live in (or what I was raised in) they're called your "privates" for a reason but changing or just hanging out I don't see a big deal

It really is the society we live in. It emphasizes nudity as bad and always being sexual. Just because 2 people are naked doesn't mean anything sexually. However people cant accept that. I will admit I was the same way until I started showering after hockey, which caused me to quickly become comfortable being naked around others and realize how stupid it is to think otherwise.

^^^ Sports are a great way to get over that insecurity, worked for me too^^^

I guess it is just that we are worried that we are "too small" or not hairy enough etc. just insecure about there body we are just worried that our body is diferent to others and all the others are the same.

That's not necessarily true. I'm only about 5" when hard and a limp 3" but I've never been insecure or worried about others seeing me changing/showering. It's just part of life. Then I have two friends who are both around 6.5" hard and at leat 4 or 4.5" soft (pretty impressive size in most locker rooms!) and they're both really insecure. The first time the three of us went to work out and showered afterwards, they were so awkward. They both covered up in towels when walking to the showers and faced away from the center. I eventually convinved them to be more normal with me, but I can tell that they are still uncomfortable at times. I personally see nothing wring with chatting while in the shower. Makes the experience more fun.
