Visual snow/HPPD

Does anyone else here suffer from this? I was born with Visual snow but the HPPD came from too much use of magic mushrooms, LSD and MDMA...

just wondering if anyone wants to talk about it. :confused:

I do, the visual snow. I didn't even know it wasn't normal until another member here made a thread about it though. :P

Yeah. I googled for a pic of visual snow. I'm thinking "Some extent of that isn't normal?" Floaters are rare, but.. static(?) happens enough that it doesn't weird me out *shrugs*

Yeah, I never really made anything of it, and then when I heard the term, I asked people I knew if they had crystal clear vision and they did (outside of just seeing problems). I just always thought that's how eyes worked.

I don't have much of an issue when it's bright, like a sunny day or going to the cinema, the screen is fine. But in dimmer surroundings, doesn't even have to be dark just dim, it's much more noticeable.

My symtons have gotten a little worse over the past 3 months since i had a visual migraine (painless aswell)
guess you could say I halcinate somewhat 24/7 its terrible and makes me fear im going to go blind!

best way to describe it is weird effects of light, increased floaters, and the static sometimes shimmers and vibrates sort of in the corner of my vision.

even right now the static infront of my vision seems to be moving faster than usual. I could put that down to just waking up in the morning coz it is usually alot worse when you wake up from sleep. but i cant tell if im just having a bad day or its actually get worse every day.

worst feeling is that there is no cure or real treatment for it so if it is getting worse I have to cop it and cant fight back. :(
